Who we are

"Women of the Future: the Economic Empowerment Summit" is driven by Pinky Lilani OBE, award-winning entrepreneur and founder of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards. The Summit is born out of the inaugural Women of the Future awards in 2006 that highlighted the incredible young women driving to the very top of business, political and professional life.

The Summit is being conceived and developed with Caspian Publishing, publisher of award-winning entrepreneurial title Real Business; and creator of the First Women Awards. Caspian is working with the likes of Margaret Heffernan, author of How She Does It: How Women Entrepreneurs Are Changing the Rules of Business Success, to build a robust agenda for the Summit's success.

Supporting the "Women of the Future: the Economic Empowerment Summit" will be the alumni of the Asian Women of Achievement awards, First Women Awards, Women of the Future awards and the members of the Lloyds TSB Inspirational Women's Network, which includes some of the UK's foremost businesswomen.
